Job description
The Canteen is looking for oyster shuckers/ raw bar cooks to join our high-energy Summer back of house team.

We would prefer applicants with line or oyster shucking experience, but we would be happy to train a highly motivated, communicative, and ambitious person as well.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing menu items to meet quality, portion, and time standards
Putting away and organizing daily deliveries (ability to lift 35lbs or more regularly)
Cleaning, storing, and logging shellfish deliveries
Maintaining line cleanliness/sanitation of the kitchen and storage spaces
Giving great service to co-workers and guests alike
This station intersects front and back of house responsibilites
FOH: This station faces our front counter and dining room and as such raw bar cooks need to be able to discuss the menu with guests and answer guests questions and requests as they arise
BOH: This station is required to prep, clean, and organize along side the kitchen staff
